Aarhus Forestry Botanical Garden (Danish: Forstbotanisk Have) is a forestry botanical garden located in the south of Aarhus, Denmark. It forms a small part of the northern section of Marselisborg Forests and is situated right next to Marselisborg Palace and Mindeparken. The botanical garden was established in 1923.

Marselisborg Forests (Danish: Marselisborgskovene) or simply Marselisborg Forest, is a 1,300 hectares (3,200 acres) forest to the south of Aarhus City in the Kingdom of Denmark. Many present day sources now includes the forest of Fløjstrup, as part of the Marselisborg Forests, upping the total area with another 200 hectares (490 acres).
The name Marselisborg lives on in the palace which was erected on the lands of the estate a few years after it had been bought. The palace was a wedding gift for Prince Christian and Princess Alexandrine, the purpose of which was to bind the Royal family more closely to Jutland. The palace was completed on 7 June 1902.

Riis Skovs historie. Dronning Margrethe den 1. fastlagde i 1395 afgrænsningen af bymarken, hvorved den sydlige del af Riis Skov overgik til Aarhus by. Den nordlige del af skoven blev skænket til byen i 1542 af Kong Christian den 3. Skoven var det primære skovtursmål for byens borgere i 1800-tallet, og den blev mere og mere anvendt som lystskov.
