Alsos Peristeriou is also home to the Green House (Prasino Spiti), an information centre dedicated to the issues of recycling, energy conservation and new-energy technologies. It is open daily. For those in need of a quick rest, the park is filled with comfortable seating areas as well as the “Alsos tis Polis” café, perfect for coffee, fresh juices, snacks or evening drinks with friends.

The Bafi Refuge was established in the year 1939 within the Mount Parnitha National Park. It is the property of the Greek Mountaineering Club, E.O.S. Located at a height of roughly 1160 meters (3805.774 feet), this refuge is open throughout the year.
Penteli hike and Davelis cave On Saturday the 3 rd of March SAS organize an easy hike in Mt. Penteli south side. The footpath starts from Palea Penteli and follows a straight on direction through bushes’ areas up to a point where cave (spilia) of the famous bandit Davelis is and the impressive double chapel of St. Nicolaos and St. Spiridon exist, carved on the rocks.
