Köprü 1965 yılında beton ve demir bağlantılar ile güçlendirilerek yenilendi. İLTEKİN (ÇAĞLAYAN) KÖPRÜSÜ (1076) Amasya il merkezine 5 km uzakta, Eryatağı sapağındadır. 1076 yılında Danişmend emirlerinden İltekin Gazi tarafından, daha önce orada bulunan bir köprü temel alınarak yaptırılmıştır.
