Antique Car Museum at Grovewood Village

The Antique Car Museum at Grovewood Village was established in 1966 by Harry Blomberg, founder of Harry's on the Hill - the oldest family-owned car dealership in Asheville, North Carolina. The museum is home to several vintage automobiles that Harry and his dealership had come to own over time, including a rare 1957 Cadillac Eldorado Brougham and Asheville’s own 1921 American LaFrance fire truck.

Looking for a park to walk our dog child, we discovered French Broad River Park. This is a beautiful park that runs right along the river. It is also a dog park! We opted to not let the little one run around in the park because there was a lot of dirt/mud and we did not want to have bath time.

The legend speaks of a woman named Helen who lived at or near the mansion with her beloved daughter. After Helen’s daughter died in a fire, the distraught mother hung herself from the bridge.
