Lake Chilwa. Lake Chilwa is the second-largest lake in Malawi after Lake Malawi. It is in eastern Zomba District, near the border with Mozambique. Approximately 60 km long and 40 km wide, the lake is surrounded by extensive wetlands. There is a large island in the middle of the lake called Chisi Island.
There is Ndirande, Chiradzulu, Soche and Michiru mountains. All that was left was to choose which one to go to. Michiru Mountain came up first because I remembered reading so much about its beautiful views of Blantyre city from the summit and variety of bird life. I decided to try it out. Michiru Mountain stands at 1470m and 46 km².
 The taxis mainly found outside the city's top hotels, Mount Soche and Ryalls, provide an alternative mode of transport to the residents of Blantyre. Railway services contribute enormously to the city's status as Malawi's main commercial and industrial hub.

Malawi’s interesting national museum has a few gems, including a royal ceremonial stool dating from the 16th century and a display on Gule Wamkulu dances. The museum is between central Blantyre and Limbe, accessed from Moi Rd opposite Chichiri Shopping Mall.
St. Michael and All Angels Church was constructed from 1888 to 1891 of brick at the Blantyre Mission in Blantyre, Malawi. It is located on the original Scottish mission site, off Chileka Rd, and is in the Church of Central Africa, Presbyterian’s Blantyre Synod.
