Parcul ZOO Braila ♦ Parcul Zoologic din Braila a fost infiintat in anul 1983 si este situat in partea de sud a orasului pe Soseaua de Centura. ♦ Se intinde pe o suprafata de 4,6 hectare din care pe 1,9 hectare sunt construite amplasamentele in care se gasesc cele 326 de exemplare de animale.
Insula Fundu Mare are o suprafață de 1899 ha, din care 965 pădure iar 934 ha luciu de apă (lacurile Chiriloaia, Stan, Misăilă și Bratusca).
