Bastionul Funarilor, cu casa adiacentă Bastionul Funarilor (sau Frânghierilor) din Brașov este primul bastion menționat în documente, la 1416. De formă hexagonală, bastionul avea inițial 10-12 m în înălțime și era dotat cu guri de tragere pentru piese mobile.
The construction of the Catherine's Gate (Ekaterinentor in German) aimed to facilitate the access in Brasov for the people from Schei. Catherine's Gate was built between the Smiths and the Weavers' Bastion, in place of an old gate of the fourteenth or fifteenth century, devastated by the flood of August 24th, 1526 and because of Turkish invasions.
This venerable museum near St Nicholas' Cathedral time-travels into the history of Romanian education. Students have been educated on this site since the late 16th century. The museum houses recreated schoolrooms, a library of 4000 antique books, and one of the country's oldest Bibles.

During the summer season, Parc Aventura is opened every day, 7/7, from 10:00 to 19:00. During the winter season, the program is made accordingly to the sunset. On winter, from the 03.12.2016 until 28.02.2017, Parc Aventura is opened only the Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Rudolf Park was the walking place of the residence, who could relax on the few benches and walkways or watching the fountain. After building the Army House Brasov in the 1940’s, this small park has disappeared and along with it the fountain was stolen piece by piece.
