Buffalo Shores is a twenty-five acre recreation area located off of State Highway 22, just downstream from Buffalo, Iowa, on the Mississippi River. A double boat ramp, free beach, ample parking, toilets, water, and picnicking are available in the park's day use area.
The Riverfront Parkway passes through the park, and the River’s Edge, an indoor sports complex operated by Davenport Parks and Recreation, is on the northeast corner of the park. History. The site where Centennial Park now sits is a former landfill used by the city of Davenport until 1975.
The surrounding Quad Cities have a few major places of employment, including the Rock Island Arsenal, which is the largest government-owned weapons manufacturing arsenal in the United States. KONE, Inc, a large manufacturer of elevators, is located in Moline, Illinois.
Credit Island is an island in the Mississippi River on the south west side of Davenport, Iowa within the Quad Cities area. Its name was derived by the use of the island as an early Indian trading post. Credit could be obtained on the promise of hides and skins to be delivered at a later time - hence Credit Island.
The Quad Cities portion is called "RiverWay." On Credit Island one can ride by an Art in the Park wooden sculpture display, which is a 3-D replica of Seurat's painting entitled "A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte." Playground facilities and picnic areas are available. Visitors can sit and watch the traffic on the Mississippi River.

Indian Springs Park is a public park located on the east side of Davenport, Iowa, United States. The park is located on 3 acres (1.2 ha) in a natural depression north of East River Drive and to the west of a railroad trestel bridge. The land was donated to the city in 1921 by Mrs. D.N. Richardson with the expressed purpose of creating a park.

The Davenport Skybridge is a pedestrian cable-stayed bridge that spans River Drive (Highway 67) in downtown Davenport, Iowa. It connects LeClaire Park and Rhythm City Casino to a courtyard and parking ramp on 2nd Street, located right next to the River Music Experience. The bridge is 50feet tall and 575feet long, and was completed in 2005.
The Soldier's Monument is a historic structure in the College Square Historic District in Davenport, Iowa, United States. The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. The monument, which was built from 1880 to 1881, was individually listed on the Davenport Register of Historic Properties in 1993.
