Parking and Trail Access. Parking for the Alameda Creek Regional Trail is available at its eastern end at the Niles Staging Area on Old Canyon Road in Fremont. Additional parking can be found in Fremont at the Isherwood Staging Area on Isherwood Way and the Beard Staging Area on Beard Road, with parking in Union City available at the Alameda Creek Staging Area on Eastin Drive.

Coyote Hills Regional Park is located at 8000 Patterson Ranch Road, Fremont, CA 94555. The closest BART station is the Union City BART station. The park's main entrance is at the west end of Patterson Ranch Road/Commerce Drive in Fremont. From I-880, take Highway 84 west, exit at Paseo Padre Parkway, turn right, and drive north about one mile. Turn left on Patterson Ranch Road. This is the park's entrance road and will take you to the picnic areas and visitor center. Parking fees may apply.

Lakeshore Park is a nice place to go jogging or take a walk. It's calm, quiet, and lovely; a very pleasant place to people watch or just hang out with friends or by your self. About the only flaw I can think of here is the fact that there are no bathrooms :-( Because the lake is surrounded by houses, it's fairly safe to park your car for a while while you spend time in the park.

The Museum is the result of the desire of Mission Peak Heritage Foundation (MPHF) and Washington Township Historical Society (WTHS) to have a permanent place to display the historical artifacts collected over the years. The two historical organizations formed the Museum of Local History Guild and elected a Board of Directors.
Niles Community Park – Nice place for a walk just a couple of blocks away from downtown Niles. It features Alameda Creek, several ponds & lakes, many trails and an annual dog show. Shinn Pond Dog Park, just west of Niles Community Park on the two-acre grassy meadow between Shinn Pond and the Alameda Creek Trail, is the best place for dogs in Fremont.
Pleasanton Ridge Regional Park is just across the highway from Sunol Regional Wilderness. In other words, Pleasanton Ridge Regional Park is just to the north of Sunol Wilderness. While Pleasanton Ridge does not offer the great aerobic workout that can be had at Sunol, it is a good park to include on your "must do" list.
Quarry Lakes Regional Recreation Area is the culmination of many years of planning and partnership between the Water District and the East Bay Regional Park District. The property that now comprises the park was acquired by the two agencies between 1975 and 1992 through purchase, donation and inter-agency agreements.
Shadow Cliffs Regional Recreation Area - Activity Calendar; Park Activities Swimming. The swimming beach has a bathhouse and refreshment stand, open on weekends in spring and fall, and daily during summer months. Lifeguards are on duty during the summer months, but swimming is allowed throughout the year in the designated area, at the swimmer's own risk.

The Catholic Church of Saint Anne in Union City has a long and colorful history. It began as one of the first churches formed from Mission San Jose in 1862. Since then there has been an unbroken proclamation of the Word of God and celebration of the Eucharist at this church, which is dedicated to the mother of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Today, St. Anne is one of the largest faith communities in the Diocese of Oakland.
