Chinook Landing Marine Park is a 67-acre marine park with six launching lanes on the Columbia River. It is one of the largest public boating facilities in Oregon. The park offers picnic and viewing areas, wetland and wildlife habitat, disabled-accessible docks, restrooms and a seasonal river patrol station.
The main picnic area at Dabney is shaded, has BBQ grills, and located near the beach. The picnic and beach areas are extremely popular in the summer months. Other picnic tables and grills are located throughout the park. The park has one reserve able picnic shelter, with electricity, to accommodate events up to 50 people.

Right off the Springwater Corridor, and a neglected sister to Powell Butte, Jenne Butte is one of the Portland area's multitude of Boring volcanoes. This lava field was active for 2 1/2 million years and became extinct about 300,000 years ago.
The defining feature of the site is the 120-foot basalt wall that bisects the property. In the past, this wall has been popular with local rock climbers. Along with the basalt wall, the site derives its name from the many striking Madrone trees in the area. With sweeping views of the nearby Clackamas River, Madrone Wall is a stunning location.

The suspect, who police think is in his 20s or 30s, reportedly shot Berg and left. Authorities are trying to identify the suspect and determine if he and Berg knew each other.

Great park. I live near Vance park for almost 12 years now and I've watched how it improved. Year after year it is getting better and better and I hope it doesn't stop. They recently installed a futsal court ( small soccer court) and that just makes the park a much better and safer place: great place to go on a warm or hot summer day.
The Historic Zimmerman House Museum is a delightful, turn-of-the-century farmhouse situated in a rapidly urbanizing area of Northwest Gresham in East Multnomah County, Oregon. The farmhouse is located on 5.98 acres, a remnant parcel of the original dairy farmstead that at one time extended over 600 acres of reclaimed bottom land along the Columbia River.
