The sculptures of the Emperors Yan and Huang are the fifth-tallest statues in the world at 106 metres (348 ft) (as well as the tallest non-Buddha statues, and the tallest statues of a ruler or head of state). They depict two of the earliest Chinese emperors, Yan Di and Huang Di. The construction lasted 20 years and was completed in 2007.
