Today drive from Xiangcheng to Daocheng. Take a distant look of the two famous sacred mountains: Kawagebo Peak of Yunnan and Genie Mountain of Sichuan. After a short stop in Sangdun village, we will then proceed to visit famous Kagyupa Sect (white hat) Zhujiesi Monastery. The monks in this monastery feed many Tibet pheasants.
Erdaoqiao Hot Spring. Erdaoqiao Hot Spring is in the valley to Mugetso about 10km north to Kangding. It is one of the earliest opened hot springs with decent facilities for travelers. Now it is considered old. For old hot spring pools using the big pool will cost you 20 yuan to 30 yuan per person.
Nanwu Si Monastery is a Tibetan Buddhist monastery west of the town of Kangding in Kangding County of the Garzê Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, in Sichuan Province, southwestern China. The complex of traditional architecture is located in the historical Tibetan region of Kham.
Endowed with numerous lakes, waterfalls, hot springs, dense woods, fragrant flowers, peculiar peaks, and grotesque rocks, Mugecuo Scenic Area presents picturesque scenery all the year round. As it is situated in the north of Kangding County, the home of love songs in Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Sichuan, this site is also known as Kangding Love Song Scenic Area.
Kangding is located in a valley of the Tibetan Plateau about 210 kilometres (130 mi) west-southwest of Chengdu, the provincial capital, and 100 kilometres (62 mi) west of Ya'an. It is a city populated by significant proportions of both Tibetans and Han, and is part of the historical Tibetan region of Kham.
