The Klaipėda Clock and Watch Museum is a branch of Lithuanian Art Museum that houses an undoubtedly worth visiting exhibition of plenty unique clocks and watches of unexpected shapes and mechanisms. The museum is well organized, deliberately managed and informative.
The Curonian Spit is a 98 km long, thin, curved sand-dune spit that separates the Curonian Lagoon from the Baltic Sea coast. Its southern portion lies within Kaliningrad Oblast, Russia and its northern within southwestern Lithuania. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site shared by the two countries.

The author of this sculpture, painter Vytautas Karčiauskas, upon presenting the sculpture to the city, encouraged its locals to start commemorating the birth name of the city. The dragon, according to the artist, symbolises the connection between earth and sky, fire and water.
If you did not... hurry to the Castle Museum! In authentic 16-18th century chambers you can learn about the castle‘s and the town‘s development. You can see the exhibited archaeological foundings, documents, Klaipėda city's stamps, reconstructed 17th century costumes that were all discovered in the old town and the site of the castle.
Klaipėda Theater Square is the heart of the city. There is a sculpture of Ann from Tharau in the middle of the fountain at the centre of the square. The monument is dedicated to Simon Dach, a German poet who was born in Klaipėda and studied at Konigsberg University.
