Batu Hitam (literally: Black Stones) is a beach located about 10 km from Kuantan, Pahang, Malaysia.It is called Batu Hitam for its stretch of black stones at the otherwise white sandy beach.
Berkelah Falls can be assessed by car but it would be a slow 5km drive through an unpaved road. The condition of the road is relatively good and flat with minor pot holes (Nov 2007) where you will reach a camp-site at the end of the drive. From the camp-site, it is an easy 15 minutes trek to the double falls.
