Blue Bell Hill is a chalk hill between Maidstone and Rochester in the English county of Kent. It overlooks the River Medway and is part of the North Downs. Settlements on the hill include Walderslade; and Blue Bell Hill and Kit's Coty villages. During the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries much of the hill was quarried for chalk.

Kit's Coty is the larger of the two monuments, with three uprights and a massive capstone, while the smaller, Little Kit's Coty (also known as the Countless Stones), is now a jumble of sarsens.

An C18 and C19 landscape park created from an earlier deer park, set at the east edge of Maidstone. The park surrounds a 1790s country house with informal, mid C19 pleasure grounds. The earthwork remains of an earlier formal garden of the early to mid C18, related to the site of the former mansion, lie within the park.

Stoneacre is a small National Trust property in Otham, near Maidstone, Kent in southern England. The property is a half-timbered yeoman farmer's house dating from the 15th century, together with a small garden, orchard and meadows. The house is a Grade II* listed building.

Bridge Meadow, the large grass area adjacent to the car park and playground, is perfect for picnics and ball games.
The Archbishops Palace was formally the fourteenth century residence of the Archbishops of Canterbury. The building still retains many of its original historic features. It is situated on the banks of the River Medway in the centre of the County Town. The River Medway with riverside walks bounds the Archbishops Palace to the rear.
Thurnham Castle and the site on which it stands appears to have been used for fortification purposes since Roman times as a watchtower. Later this fortification was developed by the Saxons and was known as Godard Castle, founded by the Saxon Godardis.

Whatman Park is accessible from St Peter Street or via two bridges – the Kent Messenger Millennium Bridge (off James Whatman Way, next to the Gallagher Stadium) and the Downstream Millennium Bridge (off Monckton’s Lane, Ringlestone).
