Meade Peak is an important peak to county highpointers and prominence peak chasers alike. It is the county highpoint for both Bear Lake and Caribou counties and has 2497 feet of prominence, making it the 46th most prominent peak in Idaho. To the Boulder Beach location: From Boulder City to Boulder Beach: Travel on Highway 93/95 South to Boulder City. Turn left at the Boulder City traffic light and continue on 93 South. Continue on 93 South until you see signs for Lake Mead National Recreation Area. Enter the National Park and stop at the entrance station to pay the National Park Service entrance fee.
Northshore Road at Boxcar-Crawdad Road : Overview. Boxcar Cove Road runs from Northshore Road down to the edge of Lake Mead at Boxcar Cove. This is a maintained backcountry road, but with limited budgets for work crews, the sand in the wash gets a bit soft down towards the lake and there is evidence that drivers sometimes get stuck in the sand.
Callville Bay is a waterway on the northwestern side of Lake Mead in the U.S. state of Nevada. It features a marina and camping resort. Situated east of Las Vegas and upstream from Las Vegas Bay, it lies within the Lake Mead National Recreation Area, which was established in 1935.
Devils Cove Road is located out in Gold Butte National Monument northeast of Lake Mead, about 3 hours northeast of Las Vegas. From Las Vegas, drive out the paved Gold Butte Road to Whitney Pocket. Continue south on the unpaved Gold Butte Road for 16.5 miles to Devils Cove Road, a major fork to the left.

The Historic Railroad Trail is an easy, dog-friendly hike along a former railroad grade. It provides panoramic views of Lake Mead, overlooking the Boulder Basin area. As hikers travel through five large tunnels, they will experience a portion of the railroad route that ran from Boulder City to Hoover Dam from 1931 to 1961.
