Hannya-ji Temple was constructed in AD 629 during the Asuka period (approx. AD 538 to AD 710) and contains many old relics. The stone pagoda monument in the grounds is the biggest of its kind in Japan. You will see many smaller stone reliefs of Buddhas set in a sea of flowers which makes this a particularly beautiful spot.

Isui-En is a really beautiful garden. With that said, it is quite overpriced as there are many Japanese gardens that are just as pretty but with entrance fees that cost half the price. Unless you are an avid fan of Japanese gardens and would just like to visit as many of these gardens as possible, or cannot fit in a visit to Japanese garden anywhere else, I would not recommend this.
