The Kiplinger Nature Preserve belonged to the Kiplinger Washington Editors, Inc. and the Kiplinger Foundation Inc. in June of 1991 until Martin County welcomed the preserve as their own. The Kiplinger Nature Preserve consists of 157 acres – 116 acres located on the west side of State Rd. 76 and south of Indian Street.
