Ariel Sharon Park is an ambitious environmental rehabilitation project, one of the biggest in the world. The park is set on the “Hiriya”, formerly a 60 meter high mound of waste next to Ben Gurion Airport, now converted into the centerpiece of the new Ariel Sharon Park, the largest new urban park built in the last century in the world.
