Established in 1982, Walter Sisulu National Botanical Gardens cover an area of 300 hectares (740 acres) and shelter many native plants. In addition to over 200 bird species, the area provides a home to a range of small mammals and reptiles. The garden amenities include a restaurant and gift shop.
