Almaden Lake Park is divided into two sides referred to as the Eastside, which runs parallel to Winfield Boulevard and the Westside of the park along Almaden Expressway. Dogs are not allowed on the Westside of the park as it is considered a wildlife sanctuary and the beach area must remain clean.
