Breiavatnet is a small lake in the municipality of Stavanger in Rogaland county, Norway. The 0.031-square-kilometre (7.7-acre) lake is very shallow, only a few feet deep. The lake gets its water from the Kannikbekken stream, which flows from the lake Mosvatnet and runs through the city (the stream was put mostly underground in culverts and pipes in 1899).

After talking to the owner for a long while I learned it is no longer a just a Viking shop but also a Metal head paradise. Plenty of interesting stuff for Viking fans or metal heads to browse. Great little shop for tourists specifically and the owner was so friendly and helpful.
Sandnes’ green oasis stretches 3.5 km along the Storånå watercourse, from Sandnes to Stokkelandsvatn lake in Ganddal. Sand volleyball court, playground and idyllic picnic spots. Located in the park is the protected Skeiane farmstead with wooden houses now deemed worthy of preservation.
Parking by Sola Strand Hotel and at the south end of the beach. Traces of WWII structures can be seen in the southern end of the beach. Access: With own car or rented car: the beach is only 2 kilometres from Stavanger International Airport and around 15 kilometres from Stavanger and Sandnes.
Sørmarka is the largest area for hiking in Stavanger featuring an 8 km network of paths and trails, several of which have lighting for evening walks. Stavanger Turistforening sells maps showing family hikes. The highest point in Sørmarka is Ullandhaug, and reigning at the summit is Ullandhaug tower (64 m).

The lighthouse was established in 1828 and closed in 1984. The lighouse master's house is from 1938, his assistant's house from 1957-58. There is an annex, machinery shed and boathouse. Tungenes Lighthouse is protected and restored to its 1930s appearance. The lighthouse now serves as a fine arts and cultural centre.
