Las Siete Cascadas (The Seven Waterfalls) Those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life will appreciate a day trip to Las Siete Cascadas; a series of small waterfalls with natural swimming pools just 8 kilometres outside of Sucre.

On the outskirts of the city of Sucre, in Bolivia, is a large cement plant, and when the quarry it uses was being expanded, workers discovered a huge vertical wall of rock with thousands of dinosaur footprints. The site is called Cal Orcko (also spelled Cal Orko) and it´s the largest concentration of dinosaur tracks in the world.

This slick theme park has a number of life-size models of dinosaurs, as well as an audio-visual display, optional guided tours and a restaurant. From the terrace, you can examine the tracks on the rock face opposite with binoculars, though the exposed prints are increasingly eroded with every passing winter.
Visiting Parque Cretácico. The best time to visit the park is between noon and 2pm, when the position of the sun allows for the best viewing of the footprints. A 30-45 min guided tour of the park (available in English, Spanish and French) is included in the entrance fee. Guided tours run daily at 10am, 11:30am, 12:30pm, 2pm and 3pm.
