Jallikattu in Tirupur – Jallikattu was taken place in TamilNadu’s Tiruppur and atleast 50 people must have injured in the incident. The participants from across 17 districts of Tamil Nadu has participated in this historic event and about 500 bulls were made to participate in the event.

Sukreeswarar Temple is another important temple that is located in Tirupur. It is located on the banks of the river Nallar, a tributary of the river Noyyal, which runs through Tirupur. It was built sometime in the 10th century A.D by the kings of the Pandya Dynasty.
