The upper, main portion of Highfields Falls. The falls are located in Highfields about 15 minutes drive from Toowoomba. Turn off the New England Highway at Dau Road and keep going to the end of the road. The walk is about 300 metres from the top of the track to the bottom of the falls. If you head off the main track to the right at the beginning of the walk, it's about 200 metres to the top of the falls, then about 220 metres from there to its lower section.

A memorial exists in Webb Park in honour of the famous poet George Essex Evans. Evans was an accomplished poet who lived from 1863-1909. He settled in Queensland from England and lived on Toll Bar Road which is the road beneath Webb Park on the Toowoomba escarpment.
