Alta Vista Park
Alta Vista Park

Cute place for young kids. My friend had her son's birthday party at the Alta Vista Community Center, which opened up to the Alta Vista Park. This was perfect for young kids to get their energy out since there are jungle gyms/slides. The community center was also nice and well maintained. Perfect if you have a function or get together.

El Nido Park
El Nido Park

As I wandered El Nido Park, I was bathed in the scent from its eucalyptus trees. They were everywhere in and around the space. That scent, to me, is intoxicating, in large doses. El Nido has peaceful, hilly green spaces adorned with very old shade trees. There is nothing quite like an old tree.....they are like great-grandparents. They have seen so much, and they are so comforting. Just their presence is spiritual. I love to wander in parks with old trees, and forests are even better.

Honda Museum
Honda Museum

So this museum is really a small collection of product to represent the history of Honda in the United States. There's already a main Honda museum in Japan, but this particular museum, is technically more of a warehouse that houses some memorable Honda consumer products (passenger cars and motorcycles) and race cars like CART/IRL racing cars and motorcycles. It's definitely a great place to see and I wish it were open to the public instead of private Honda events.
