Riverside Park. The Riverside Parks, parcels of which were acquired in 1886, 1887, 1897, 1899 and 1917, form the nucleus of the Wichita Park system. There are three separate areas (Central, North, and South) located along the Little Arkansas River near the heart of the city.

Dr. Glen Dey Park
Dr. Glen Dey Park

In 2011 the park was renamed after the late Dr. Glen Dey, a former Park Board member and an active supporter of development of the park. Part of the K-96 bicycle path runs through the park. The north playground and basketball court have been recently renovated, and the south playground will be renovated in late 2017.
