It is usually believed that the crow is a symbol of bad luck and death, but it is not always the case. As we have already said, a crow may be a symbol of life magic and mysteries. It also symbolizes intelligence, flexibility and destiny.

Many birds live alone, but crows live in a group called a murder. Most people would call it a Flock of Crows. One could think of a murder of Crows to be the "poetic term" . The word for this grouping appears in the title of the short story "Murders in the Rue Morgue" is a well-known short story by Edgar Allan Poe.

The American crow (Corvus brachyrhynchos) is a large passerine bird species of the family Corvidae. It is a common bird found throughout much of North America. American crows are the new world counterpart to the carrion crow and the hooded crow.

As I mentioned, kibbled cat or dog food (pea sized chunks) is cheap and provides complete nutrition for the omnivorous crows. Meat scraps are always a hit as is cheese and egg yolk. Sunflower seeds, peanuts, in or out of the shell, and just about anything that a teenage boy would love.
