White-tailed deer are highly adaptable species and thrive in a variety of habitats. The areas that provide the most suitable environment include a mixture of hardwoods, croplands, brushlands and pasturelands. They prefer an interspersed habitat including meadows, forested woodlots, brushy areas and croplands.
Grasslands have many names—prairies in North America, Asian steppes, savannahs and veldts in Africa, Australian rangelands, and pampas, llanos and cerrados in South America. But they are all places where there is too little rain for trees to grow in great numbers.

They can be found in rainforests, swamps, savannas, mountains and even deserts. Panther looks like a leopard without dots. It has yellow or dark brown fur and emerald eyes. Panthers are endangered species because of excessive hunting, loss of natural habitat, environmental pollution and global warming.
Panthers are habitat generalists, which means they use a variety of habitat types, including forests, prairies and swamps. They are solitary and territorial animals that travel hundreds of miles within their home ranges. Panthers are mostly active between dusk and dawn, resting during the heat of the day.
The black panther's habitats include the rainforest, marshland, woodlands, swamps, savannahs, and even mountains and deserts. One of the reasons that black panthers are able to live in such variety of habitats is that they can eat many types of animals.
Domesticated, or tamed, horses can live in almost any habitat, but wild horses prefer plains, prairies, and steppes for many reasons. Horses need wide open spaces for defense purposes, and they need some shelter, like trees or cliffs, to protect them from the elements.Aug 29, 2017
