John Muir (April 21, 1838 – December 24, 1914) was one of the earliest and most influential American conservationists, sometimes called the Father of the National Park System.
John Muir was born in Dunbar, East Lothian, Scotland to Daniel and Ann Gilrye Muir.
After a limited schooling, the young Santa Anna worked for a merchant of Veracruz.
