Facts about The Game

Soccer is perhaps the most elemental team ball sport. Two teams, each with 11 players (including the goalkeeper) work to push a ball into the opposing team's goal using any part of their body other than their hands or arms. At the end of two 45 minute periods, whichever team has scored the most goals wins the game.

The attacking player (No. 10) attempts to kick the ball beyond the opposing team's goalkeeper, between the goalposts, and beneath the crossbar to score a goal. Association football, more commonly known as football or soccer, is a team sport played between two teams of eleven players with a spherical ball.

In some ways soccer is a fairly simple or pure game. The primary rule is that players cannot touch the ball with their hands or arms while the ball is in play. The exception to this rule is the goalie. The goalie is a designated player whose main job is to protect the goal from the opponents.

Before the game, representatives of each team meet with the referee to toss a coin. According to the FIFA rules, the team that wins the toss gets to choose which goal it will attack. The other team kicks off to start the game. In soccer, the team that kicks off is said to be "taking" the kickoff.

Pig is a simple dice game first described in print by John Scarne in 1945. As with many games of folk origin, Pig is played with many rule variations. Commercial variants of Pig include Pass the Pigs, Pig Dice, and Skunk.

Poke Stinky Pig's belly to hear him sing, and then roll the die to see which way to pass him. Do it fast…pass him left, pass him right, roll again…but hurry before he…toots! If you're holding Stinky Pig when he passes gas, you must take a token.

To play, choose which cards you want to collect then choose a card to discard and put it, face down, on the table in front of you. When everyone has a card on the table, simultaneously pass your card to the player on your left and then pick up the card which has been passed to you.

Reach 100 points first and win the game. Step 5: To play with two dice, roll both for your first turn. If you roll a one on either die, you score zero for that turn and your turns ends, but if you roll two ones – or snake eyes – you lose your turn and all the points you've earned during the game.Apr 2, 2010

At the start of every game the referee throws the basketball up in the air, and one player from each team tries to hit it to their teammates, that is called a "jump ball." At the start of each quarter the team who has the possession arrow pointing towards their hoop gets the ball.

also called "Mafia" Werewolf is a simple game for a large group of people (seven or more.) It requires no equipment besides some bits of paper; you can play it just sitting in a circle.
