Are Boston terriers generally okay with being alone?

They can handle it, within reasonable limits. A few hours a day isn't a problem. Having a buddy dog to keep him or her company is always helpful, of course. They are most definitely not bred to be loners, though. read more

A dog in an apartment is a fine choice, as long as it's a small enough breed (as a Boston Terrier is) that it wouldn't feel physically constricted by the space. City-dwellers should not be denied the right to live with and love a dog, as long as they do it responsibly. read more
