If a bracket is broken , the archwire isn't engaged in it and hence force isn't applied to that particular tooth. Call the orthodontist, they will have to remove wire and cement a new bracket. It happens ofetn (I used to be an ortho assistant). I would wait to long because the tooth that the bracket came off of is no longer attached to the wire that is moving your teeth. So all the other teeth are still moving but that one isn't. read more
