One also has to factor in the cost of labour which is higher because they are made in Canada so that is OK by me. I lived and worked in the Arctic for almost 17 years. Never owned a Canada Goose. TL;DR I think you're wrong in comparing Chinese synthetic coats and ugly wool sweaters to CG to espouse CG not being worth it. Especially on BIFL. I actually disagree with you though, having owned ~400$ range north face jackets. I currently own a Canada Goose Heli-Arctic. read more
