On the South Rim, leashed pets are allowed on trails above the rim, Mather Campground, Desert View Campground, Trailer Village, and throughout developed areas. Yavapai Lodge is the only in-park lodge that has pet friendly rooms. read more

Generally, your pets are allowed outside your vehicle only in paved parking lots and some campgrounds. The trails are usually off limits. But things are different at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. read more
