Are heavy table tennis bats better than lighter ones?

To conclude, a heavier bat has a greater punch but slower movement but to have an effective really point winner, one needs to have a lighter bat. While plies made by Donic, Tibhar and Butterfly are heavier if they have carbon; those made by the Chinese and Japanese are much lighter and spinny. read more

Till now i was using GKI TT Bat(Ready to play).But now I want to change my Bat.I am looking for ""Donic Waldner 700 Table Tennis Bat"" and ""Donic Waldner 800 Table Tennis Bat"" as known in Indian market . Please suggest me between these two or some other Bat with in the budget of Rs.2000.Your suggestions are welcome. read more
