A variety of Llamas ,of Andean Mountains are presntly being reared a in a small farm near Godavary in Nepal. I am not aware of any other habitat of Llamas in the Himalayas. read more

Llamas were originated in the plains of North America about 40 m.a. and about 3 m.a. they migrated to Andes region in South America. Whereas Alpacas were introduced to Himalayan region by Nepalis just because of their wools about 20 years ago. read more
