If you’re hiking in the Rockies any time from December to March you want a dog who can withstand some cold weather and snow. Likewise, if you’re hiking through a subtropical forest in the summer you want your dog to be able to tolerate the heat. read more
She doesn't look as pretty without the feathering but I'd go crazy with the constant grooming (We're real outdoorsy lots of hiking camping kayaking and biking in all sorts of weather :)) Like my dogs to be wash and wear so to speak - easiest coat to deal with for my is that of my Pit Bull. read more
