Are 'pitcher plants' found in the Daintree rainforest?

From a little digging on Wikipedia, it looks like the ranges of three species in the old-world pitcher plant genus Nepenthes should include the Cape York Peninsula, so I wouldn't be surprised to see them in Daintree. read more
