By the way, Consumer Reports largely agrees with me. Out of its 36-member “Worst of the Worst Used Cars,” three are Pontiacs: Pontiac Aztek; Pontiac G6 (V6); and, Pontiac Montana. So, don’t take my word from it. Those guys at Consumer Reports know a thing or two about cars. read more

Pontiac is a good vehicle, a very good realiable car. They have had problems in the past by trying to make a cheaper car for affordability and that obviously was reflected in the car itself, but as of now, with the new models they are hard to beat in their respective class. read more

Pontiac originated as the Oakland Car Company of Pontiac, Michigan, in 1907; it was founded by Edward Murphy. Acquired by General Motors in 1909, Oakland introduced the first Pontiac vehicle in 1926.
