In truth though, Texas is and has always been it's own place. Dallas and Houston are as unlike as two cities in the same state can be just as are Texarkana and Lubock. And Austin, what can I say about Austin, it's as unlike any place in Texas as it can be, and the people who live there revel in that. read more
