If you see any trouble, go out of the way. Avoid to walk there in the middle of the night if you are female - most probably nothing bad will happen if you do, though. We have a huge park in Vienna, called “Prater”. My family and i quite frequently take a walk there, sometimes in the middle of the night. read more

There are very few murders in Vienna as a whole. There is no place in Vienna where it isn't much more likely that you will die from a heart attack or stroke than a murder.
