Are there any bad things about Toronto Canada?

No place is perfect. Toronto is an expensive city to live in, compared to most other Canadian cities. (I think Vancouver is the only place moreso.) Parking downtown is pricey, too. Our public transit system used to be great, but insufficient funding has taken its toll. read more

Any of the things people are complaining about on here are not unique to Toronto. Expensive property, high rent, crowded, depressing, relentless, has winter. There are quite a few cities that share that. read more

A good thing that hasn't come up is that although Toronto is"Metro" and has some sprawl, by driving about an hour in any direction you can escape to small towns/cities and countryside. To the Southeast its Niagara country, To the West its Kitchener and Amish Country, or Brantford/Hamilton and the 6 nations reserve. read more

So, there are some people with a chip on their shoulder, some biases. Knee jerk anti-Americanism is pointless, but traditional it seems. Canada has its flaws like any place. Never believe the hyper patriots of any country. Read the newspapers online to get a clearer view. Good tip for every country actually. read more
