Islam prohibit the celebration of birthdays. They don't celebrate birthdays because bad things happen on the few birthdays mentioned in the Bible. Like Herod's birthday (which ended badly for John the Baptist). Actually, the religion—or any other—has no right to ban birthdays as they are not forbidden anywhere in the Bible. read more
