There are some species that are more nocturnal than others, but in general t’s will seek shade of some kind during the day. If you keep them under particularly bright lights during the day and red leds during the night you will see more activity at night. read more

Tarantulas aren't hamsters, they don't move around alot. Some are more active then others, I would say L.parahybana, A.geniculata, A.versicolor and X immanis are probably my most active. But just because you get one doesn't mean it will be active. Tarantulas are notorious for not reading the rules. read more
