Based on that, I can say that any parallels between the two ends with that both are companies that experienced fast growth and created a previously non-existant marketplace. You can pretty much find parallels between Enron and MANY companies if you look through a wide enough lens. read more
Uber is a private company, so it has much fewer investors and a very different reporting obligations. Investors are kept fully aware of the exact financial situation of Uber. One could say that Uber is in the opposite situation compared to Enron - at Enron, accurate financial information was supposed to be public and wasn’t. read more
