Are there corporate culture parallels between Uber and Enron?

I am sure that that you can find "parallels" if you dig enough, but no, there aren't any parallels between Enron and Uber. What I know about Uber's corporate culture comes from working there a year and a half. read more

Based on that, I can say that any parallels between the two ends with that both are companies that experienced fast growth and created a previously non-existant marketplace. You can pretty much find parallels between Enron and MANY companies if you look through a wide enough lens. read more

Uber is a private company, so it has much fewer investors and a very different reporting obligations. Investors are kept fully aware of the exact financial situation of Uber.
