In Maori, Moriori, Menehune ,patupaiarehe and pakepakeha are all considered to be 'little people' with the exception of the pakepakeha and patupaiarehe which have been described as either, small forest dwellers, or large cave/mountain dwellers, the short people are dark skinned with often light (ginger) coloured hair. read more
