WSDOT planted California poppies along some sections of highway. But there really aren't any wild poppies, at least not in Western Washington and Oregon. Not quite the right climate. read more
Well the DEA and other fed agencies frown on opium poppies, but after a wet winter you can see fields of Californian golden poppies in the foothills and parks around the state. read more
