Are there scientific proofs for any part of the Holy Bible?

Today the Bible is controversial for several reasons. For example, it is filled with miracles. In the Old Testament, God parts the Red Sea, allowing His people to escape a hoard of angry Egyptians. There is scientific evidence for parts of the bible. If you provide a bible to a testing facility, they will be able to confirm that it exists, and additionally tell you all sorts of interesting information about things like what paper and ink was used, when and where it was printed, the composition of the paper, its acidity level, etc. read more

There is little direct proof for many of the events in the bible. The further back in history you go (ie. The further back in the bible you go) there is less and less evidence. This is a standard thing with any historical text. read more
