Are we slaves to consumerism?

As a community, we lead much safer and more comfortable lives by specializing in a particular job and contributing. I wouldn't say we are slaves to society, but rather we are enriched by it and our lives are made easier. Some individuals become slaves to consumerism by putting things above the people in their lives. read more
